I depart for Canada today for a brief visit. With luck I may be able to visit Moncton HQ but it looks like any trips beyond that will be impossible.

Yay! When can we expect you? Classes run Tuesday and Thursdays. Seniors teach Tuesdays and Master Chung teaches Thursdays.

If I can get everything co-ordinated a visit to Moncton will be between the 20th and 22nd.

Wow! A 3 week visit doesn't seem so short! :)

I can't wait to meet you in person. Tuesday, June 21st we will be having class at 6pm. I assume you still remember how to get there, right? Will you be training with the Moncton crew or just passing by to visit?

Enjoy yourself. Must be great to be back in the Maritimes, amongst donairs and Moosehead. ;)

Have a great trip Tony! If you find yourself passing through the capital let me know. I'd be honoured to say hello and perhaps show you around. :)

Yes, I have 15 days free! Amazing!

Maybe next trip, Brad! I'd like to see what Ottawa has to offer.

Well, I have returned to Seoul. I was unable to get to Moncton which was a disappointment but that was the only goal on my list that I failed to do.

Trevellers came to visit us today! A set of 4 tired Australians, fresh from a few days in scenic downtown Moncton, NB, dragged themselves out of bed to train with Lorne and me at the Dangsan Dojang in slightly less scenic downtown Seoul.

It was a trifle warm and wet even at that early hour, but Michael, Kai, John, and Dave valiantly battled the hour, the jetlag, the heat, and the 'aroma' to spice up what would otherwise have been a routine class. It was great fun to have them take time out of their trip to come and see us!

Cheri and Casey, your messages were duly relayed ~ thanks for thinking of me!

Anthony, would you please pass along a hello to the Aussies and wish them good luck shopping! I wish I were there; next summer can't come soon enough for me.

Anthony, We're now safely back in Brisbane and catching up on much needed sleep! We all really enjoyed the early morning session and the discussion. We readily found our way to Knife Gallery in Insadong and ordered several customised swords, so now we have to contain our excitement until our new babies arrive...

Thanks also to Casey for his tip on visiting the kumdo shops in Dongdaemun, we found some very nice gear there and shipped a bundle back home.

I'll be updating the website in the next week with photos, so check it out then: http://www.haidonggumdo.net.au

Look forward to seeing you all again next year, and thanks again.

Michael

Glad to hear that you made it home in one piece and that the Knife Gallery had some treats for you!
