It's my understanding that the magic dollar amount is $200 for the non-refundable deposit. I imagine that you can make it out to the US HDGD Association. HQ is requesting that participants hand in their registration form and their deposit by the end of this month. Jennifer, you might consider turning in the registration form and deposit this weekend at the TOMA tournament. You can ask Master Park or Master Oh to whom the check should be made out to.

Not really. Make sure that check doesn't get any where near your credit cards because it will just get them all riled up and jealous. Then they'll be demanding that they get in on the action too. It's happened to me so many times...

Trust me, you don't want the creditors coming to your house to reposes one of your swords. I've seen "RepoMen" (TLC) ....those guys are faster than sneaky ninjas.

There's additional information available if anyone's interested.
Hi Casey !
I´d be glad if you could give me further information, especially the Gumbup Category...

Hi Mr. Huse.
What additional information are you looking for other than what is provided in the 2nd post of the 2nd page of this thread? I'll be happy to share it if I have it.

1. If they follow the same format as that of the 2002 and 2004 WCs, competitors will be called to their ring in groups of four. All four of you will do you forms at the same time.
2. Color belts have to use a mogum and black belts are to use a kagum. However, many of the foreign competitors were prevented from taking their kagum past the S. Korean customs service and had to leave them at the airport. Due to this, black belt competitors were allowed to use mogums instead.
3. Since you'll be doing multiple forms, you're supposed to link them together as though they're one form. That means you are not supposed to chagum between forms. However, you're not supposed to do a fancy transition between the individual gumbup either. Keep it simple.
